What Did I Read in February, You Ask?

February. “A good month for reading” might be the best we can say
about the “f” month. So I made the most of it — one blockbuster of a big novel; a collection of weird and wonderful short stories; a travel memoir (Italy); and four mystery novels. Click through to see what I read and join our book chat.

What I Read in January, 2023

My reading year began splendidly, with a big, fat, delicious novel, bought by me and for me in the week before Christmas, just for that purpose. It was followed by a few good mysteries, a memoir comprised of essays, and a couple of novels thoughtfully illuminating some difficult history through the voices of some compelling female protagonists. And as I’ve been doing for a few years now, I’ve made a few notes about each book in my handwritten Reading Journal and transcribed those notes here to share with you. What I Read in December, 2022: Rounding out the Year. . .

Books, books, books! So many to be read, several in progress, and some of I finished in December. The stack above comprises all three, but it’s my December reading I’ll tell you about in this latest post. In fact, I read SO much in December that I’m going to split this post in two.
