January Reading — Good Start to 2024!

I read SO much in January — all fiction, all English, literary fiction, historical fiction, some mystery novels, some books that beg a second reading, and books that take us to the Appalachians, to Cumbria, New York, Paris, Athens, 1950s Minnesota and even into toile-patterned wallpaper . . . Books Read, December 2023

That’s a deceptive photo heading this post. . . those are books my husband and I bought ourselves for Christmas, and you’ll have to wait at least a month before they start showing up here. But I have a full slate of books I read in December — as usual, these range across the genres: literary fiction to memoir to popular genre fiction, book in translation, children’s novel, historical fiction. . . it’s all here. Hope you’ll find something that appeals and that you’ll leave us a comment about a book or two you’ve liked (or not) lately. Click through to join in! Happy Reading!
