Books Read in December, 2024

Back from my travels, and I’m almost back on track with my book posts. For December, a French novel and an Italian “giallo” (crime novel); in English, some literary fiction, a couple of mysteries, and a British-French journalist’s about his 20 years in Paris. And, of course, the comments will soon be filled with reader’s generous suggestions about books they’ve discovered. Click through to read (and maybe add your own contributions, thank you!)

Books Read While Travelling, October and November 2024

Two months of Books I read (and saw) while travelling in October and November. An Italian “giallo” read in Rome, a French “roman policier” in French-speaking Marrakech, and in English, a couple of mysteries, a memoir about life in Paris, a coming-of-age romance set in Paris, and a Women’s Prize-shortlisted novel. Books I Read in July ’24 (feels so long ago!)

A very tardy Book Post — the books I read in July, before I left for Rome (which we’ve now left for London, where we’re pivoting for Somewhere Else). Post includes a few titles that might fit on your End-of-Summer (or Winter) reading list — and you might have a few to share as well. Click through to read and to join the conversation.
