Absolutely gratuitous addition to yesterday’s post. Here’s a photo my daughter posted on Facebook today, taken when Pater was driving her and Harriet back to catch “the big ferry” —
I do love the way that sunlight hits little girl — and the little sunglasses always just slay me. Don’t know why, but they do.
Okay, back to work now. Hope your Monday is going well.
Precious! This one should be framed.
I never get 'round to framing photos (nor, for that matter, printing them) — but really, that's a good idea!
She is helping grand dad drive the boat! So adorable…aren't we so fortunate having red hDads in our families?
Red heads I meant to say….
I knew exactly what you meant, and I have to agree that we are very fortunate! 😉
So adorable. That red hair just glows with life and light. I feel the same way about sunglasses on little faces. A new development is that the 2.5 year old is wearing glasses all the time – still adorable, but I wish she didn't need them.
The sunglasses are a very wise precaution for the little ones, but they weren't part of my own toddlers' lives, way back when, which might be why they still seem so amusing to me. My 2.5-year old nephew also wears glasses all the time now, and is super cute in them. I know what you mean, though — we'd like to be able to wave a magic wand. . .
She is so sweet! I'd love to borrow her for a day. How wonderful that driving to the ferry means driving on the water!
Yes, and there's something about driving on the water that always seems a little bit like a vacation (even though it can simultaneously be a bit of a drag, slippery docks and pouring rain and all . . .)
Such a sweet photo!
Isn't it? You can't see my daughter, the photographer, in it, but I can. . . 😉
Totally cute. Love the purple sunglasses, love the happy grandpa, love the redhead in the sunlight.
And you know from redheads!
