An old door in notre quartier (our neighbourhood). . . Bordeaux, 2016 |
A busy week here — My schedule always seems full enough already, but I had to add a few more items to the weekly planner: two stimulating lectures to “attend” via Zoom; an appointment to fit my new hearing aids; and several FaceTime story-reading sessions (more on those later).
I did manage to post my October Readingover on my other blog. I’d love to have you stop in and chat books. . . the community there is always looking for, and contributing, reading suggestions. . . .
I’ll be back tomorrow or Saturday with a proper post (including a peek at a new sweater dress — perfect for reading a book to grandkids, even if it will be a long time before I get to wear it anywhere else 😉

Meanwhile, you might like to revisit Bordeaux with me. Four years ago, we were there for 8 or 10 weeks, and I’ve been revisiting photos and travel journal entries about that trip. The post I’m linking to offers a quick anecdote about our Bordeaux neighbourhood, married life and love, and . . . . cheeky Frenchmen. . .
I hope you enjoy it.

I cannot believe it was that long ago…
K: Neither can I! That was only months after we'd moved into this place, which still seems like a very recent move to me. . .
I somehow missed this post. That faux fur vest… hope you still have that. You look damned chic in that photo. 🙂
