I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for at least a year inspired not only by all the knitting, life-in-Paris, and fashion blogs I check out regularly, but also by my daughter’s record of the year she spent cooking in Montreal. I hope that this will be a way for me to get into the habit of writing more, in a possibly public and thus more accountable way. As well, as I tell my students, paraphrasing, I think, James Baldwin, writing is a way to find out what I think. So here goes.
No time to write much more than this today since I’m off to the ferry now to pick up my 13-year old nephew and his twin 6-year old sisters who are going to spend a few days here at our waterfront island home — fabulous sunshine today so we should have a great time.
