Detour — click this way!

Damn! Because of the way Blogger dates posts from when they were first drafted rather than when they were published, my most recent post–a fabulously-interesting one, bien sûr about running and what I wore– is showing up here where readers are much less likely to see it — please click and visit!

I thought I was being clever loading photos into future posts before I left home, but I can see this will not be ideal (although I suppose I could try shifting everything and deleting the drafts . . . ? Oh, well. . .

Actually, the date of the post can be edited in Blogger.

Go into Edit mode and click on the Post Options link on the lower left just above the Publish Bost button. Post Date and Time will appear at lower right and those 2 fields can be edited.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks so much, Nanflan — I’m going to try this for the next few posts.

Yep… I do the same. I may write threads or bits, but then when I flesh out the post, I update the date and time.

I really hate this too I tend to write some posts in word then copy and paste when im ready, thats about as technical as i get. Truly wish I understood the first comment as it would help though.

(Indigo)alison: If you follow Nanflan’s instructions, it’s actually really easy to make this change — I have very limited technical skills and was quite tickled at how simple this was!
Gina: yes, I think more and more I’ll be doing these, putting elements together ’til I’m ready to post on something.
