Four places I go over and over:
Paris — our kids give us a hard time because we’ve been going back every spring for quite a few years now.

Four people who e-mail me regularly:
My friend Lisa, who teaches at another university, also English, also Canlit, and who I met back when I was doing my MA and she was starting on her PhD.
My students
Pater — we live in different cities during the week, so the e-mail keeps us in the loop
All those helpful folks with suggestions about enlarging my penis — my all-time favourite was the one offering to help my little soldier grow up to be a big love general — gotta love a good metaphor!

Four places I’d rather be:
I’m actually pretty happy where I am, but I wouldn’t mind somehow also being able to get to Victoria to see my son and his girlfriend.
And I’d go to Paris again in a heartbeat.
There’s Lisbon — really want to go back there.
And Vancouver — where I’ll be with my family this weekend.
