And This Little Piggy . . .

These perfect little piggies sat on a blanket with me in a park by the beach dancing to catch up with the crows that eyed our snacks. The piggies’ owner’s mother swam laps in the pool while we, respectively, tried to put bits of leaves and grass in our mouth or keep them out. You can work out which of us did what. Such a simple good time we had.

Not nearly as simple or good or satisfying, but still as happy-making as new shoes can be, I present these easy-to-wear heels whose happy-making factor was considerably enhanced by having 30% taken off their already-substantially-marked-down price. They’re made of the softest, softest leather, and the heel is thoughtfully placed for comfortable walking — they’re by Manufacture d’Essai, which I didn’t know but now approve.

Here are my little piggies in my new shoes, along with all the veins and bumps that piggies will gather through the years.

I think I’ll wear them to a family Open House this afternoon. The new piggies will be there as well, and we’ll all have fun. . .

Fabulous new shoes! And what a wonderful day it seems the piggies had, large and small, exploring the grass.

Isn't that little foot the smoothest plump baby-pinkest thing? And your new shoes! There is much piggy delight available to all ages.

Duchesse: Piggy delight ought to be a song title — or at the very least, a chorus!

As fabulous as those new shoes are, I'm afraid they were upstaged by those sweet little piggies!
