Easter Tulips!

 Happy Easter!

( I’ve just happily realized that we will land in Amsterdam next month (very beginning of May) just in time to see those legendary tulip fields in full bloom. . . )

And tulips seem a good way to say (again) Happy Easter! Hope you have a lovely day, and may that bunny be good to you. . .

Happy Easter to you too! Your vacation is coming closer – you must be very excited. What fun to choose a different port of entry each time you go to Paris! P.

Lovely tulips, and how wonderful to anticipate seeing the fields in bloom in Holland.

We had our Easter dinner last night with the family – the chocolate eggs on the table were a big hit!

Happy Easter, ma! How wonderful that you will soon see tulips en masse. Have not been able to resist buying a bunch every few days.

Sue, yes, we're excited to see the fields of bloom.
Patricia: You spotted that, did you? Yes, we're trying to add different cities/countries on, altho' we've been rather stuck on London the last few trips. Time to shake it up and there's a direct flight from YVR to A'dam.
Lorrie: I'll bet those were a huge hit, especially with a certain little girl!
Duchesse: Aren't they fabulous at this time of year — I love everything about them, the fresh simple shape and delectable colours . . .

Your bouquet is lovely. DH transplanted all our bulbs to a spot where no one can see them. I snipped a bouquet and took some to work this past week…with a penny in the water.

Too funny. Sounds as if your DH transplants something the way mine used to prune. I'm working to harness the enthusiasm . . .

Pretty tulips. They match my new spring dress. I would love to see the fields of tulips. Another dream. I used to plant a couple of hundred tulips each year and bring them in by the armload. At least I can still buy a few to keep on my desk.

Oh, your new dress — I love it! And yes, I'm sure you must miss those tulips at your old place. But buying them is an easy substitute, if a poor second. Have you ever checked out Jane Brocket's blog? She does wonderful things with tulips from her garden. . . colour!

Yes I adore Jane Brockets blog, and her tulips.

      And I see she's started a new one, Winestorm . . .
