Let’s go word-less today. This was my view on the weekend when we enjoyed some lovely sunshine, although the temperature was around freezing.
And here we are coming home after work last night, the other side of the island (I’m behind the phonecamera lens, Pater’s walking from the boat). . . .
These days, really, I’m wishing I could just stay between these two points. . . .
But you know what those dwarves sang. . . Heigh-ho, heigh-ho. . . . So off to work I go

I'm singing the same song with less and less enthusiasm. The passion for my work is waning, in a certain way, as I think of the things I could do in my field were I untethered from the bureaucracy.
This is where I'm at lately . . . there is still passion but workload and institutional expectations/practices get in the way, exhaust. . . .
