Flights went well enough that we had the energy to take RER (train) from airport yesterday. 20 Euros for the two of us beats more expensive taxi. Plus taxi wouldn’t have offered in-our-car live busking. Gypsy accordion followed by full-on, straight-up hip-hop, sound system (loud!!) and all…
Arriving at hotel before noon, we managed two meals, purchase of earrings (made by a Parisian artisan), walked almost 10 kilometres AND had a delicious nap.
Now it’s Sunday, 6:30 am and we’re getting ready for a run. Planning a trip to the flea market, dinner with friends, and who knows what other adventures. Happy Mothers Day!
Bonne journee. You and your sister look like the poster girls for adventures. And what a lovely photo. The location, the wardrobe choices, even the food looks harmonious. Clearly you are where you are meant to be. Enjoy
Oh! You both look so happy! Paris is an energizing city. Enjoy your adventures. Joyeuse Fête des Mères.
Delightful! Enjoy every second and every bite!
Looks like a wonderful start to your trip!
You two are adorable – but seriously, you're able to run today? Jet lag hits me harder than you, apparently!
Not sure how we did it. Usually I get pretty wonky the first day. Might really wallop me later.
You both look like you are enjoying yourselves immensely. Have a wonderful time exploring Paris together.
You look like you are having such a fabulous time. Have a wonderful time.
Happy Mothers' Day to you too. Have a wonderful time sounds as though you have a "running start!" 😉
What a wonderful way to celebrate………….so many things. Wishing you the very best time with your sister!
You both look so happy! And you are definitely aging in reverse, Frances.
You both look as though you're thoroughly enjoying yourselves in Paris. And you look way too young to be retiring!!!
What a great photo! Love the smiles, the sandalled feet, the cafe table and the chairs. Enjoy!
Love the photo. Enjoy Paris!
