Nous Sommes Ici- à Paris!

Flights went well enough that we had the energy to take RER (train) from airport yesterday. 20 Euros for the two of us beats more expensive taxi. Plus taxi wouldn’t have offered in-our-car live busking. Gypsy accordion followed by full-on, straight-up hip-hop, sound system (loud!!) and all…

Arriving at hotel before noon, we managed two meals, purchase of earrings (made by a Parisian artisan), walked almost 10 kilometres AND had a delicious nap.

Now it’s Sunday, 6:30 am and we’re getting ready for a run. Planning a trip to the flea market, dinner with friends, and who knows what other adventures. Happy Mothers Day!

Bonne journee. You and your sister look like the poster girls for adventures. And what a lovely photo. The location, the wardrobe choices, even the food looks harmonious. Clearly you are where you are meant to be. Enjoy

You two are adorable – but seriously, you're able to run today? Jet lag hits me harder than you, apparently!

Not sure how we did it. Usually I get pretty wonky the first day. Might really wallop me later.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I'm finding it really frustrating to respond individually with the technology I've got with me, but please know that I'm reading each comment and appreciating the company.
