Frances – these photos are awesome! And I cannot believe your daughter's elegance so soon after giving birth. Honestly, I was half-dead. She is entirely present.
I know! She's pretty fab, right? Partly, it's the hair, which is like a force of its own — thick, curly, and that colour! But she'd also be pretty amazing even bald. đ
So sweet! And the captions are perfect! I agree that your daughter is amazing. Fergus is so clearly a newborn, but she doesn't look like she's recently given birth.
And it was left than twelve hours ago, in her own bed! đ
Fergus looks so new! Your daughter looks so relaxed with her two little ones.
Yes, we'll see if that relaxation lasts . . . things get a wee bit trickier as the numbers increase. . .
How utterly precious. Thank you for sharing this. To see our sons as fathers is wonderful but thee is just nothing, nothing at all like the worry and the joy when our daughters give birth.
It's so true, those unspoken (who would dare tempt fate by speaking them?!) worries, finally released. . . the joy on so many levels.
Fergus! So Irish! All the beautiful things. Play him some Van Morrison, I bet he'll know the sound.
And Yeats and Seamus Heaney . . . and he'll have to pay a visit one year to that emerald country. Perhaps Nana will have to plan a jaunt . . .

What precious pictures. The baby looks almost as big as his big sister. My family is past newborns. I envy you the new life. There is nothing like a new baby.
We will soon be past newborns as well, I suspect, although there may be one or two for us yet. Hard to believe this second round (the grandchildren generation) is whipping by so quickly. . .
They are all beautiful. Is he a redhead like Mum and big sister?
Can't be sure yet, but it does look as if he might be ginger, at least, with a redhead's complexion — perhaps not as red as his sister nor as dark/auburn as his mom's.
