My new granddaughter, Francesca Rose, 4 days old, wrapped in the baby blanketI knit for her, my version of Purl Bee’s Super Easy Baby Blanket, knit in Debbie Bliss’ Baby Cashmerino (and yes, completely machine wash-and-dryable merino-cashmere blend with a bit of microfibre).
Really, sometimes the simplest styling is the best. And few words required.
No words needed. She's wrapped in love, your sweet little Frankie.
Oh, so gorgeous! (And the blanket's not bad either :-))
😉 I loved the simplicity of the garter stitch, so different from the last blanket I knit!
Beautiful baby and blanket!
So sweet. And pretty blankie too.
Simply beautiful x
beautiful!
Lovely.
I envy you the grandbaby (yes, perfection), and I envy her the blanket (beautiful). Does my heart good to see it.
Babies really do lift our hearts, don't they?!
*sigh*
Fresh, sweet baby. Nothing like it in the whole wide world, especially when it's your baby's baby.
It's so deeply, richly, magical . . . my baby's baby . . . yes.
Love them both. Brings me back to the best of times . . .
It did me too, I must say. Thank you.
Lovely. A very special baby in a very special blanket made just for her.

How lovely. Enjoy
I've tiptoed back to reading a few blogs and this is the most divine (in all senses) discovery. A beautiful newborn, wrapped in those tender colours with love. (What a charming version of the name ;)) Delighted for you, ma!
I wondered if you'd peek in at our little one — I know you love photos of the little ones. Thanks for the visit — looking forward to more sustained back-and-forth blog visits in a few weeks.
Beautiful! Congrats to all!
