It is rapidly becoming apparent that Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday are going to be very short of blogging time this term. And if you read my last post, you’ll have noticed that Friday-Saturday-Sunday can get chomped up quite thoroughly with family (and, very soon, with marking papers).
What to do? What to do? . . . Well, occasionally, perhaps you won’t mind if I throw a cute baby picture your way and call that a post. Bonus, here, is that you also get a peek at thehat I knit my daughter*, Harriet’s aunt (Auntie R is clearly a cat-lover AND a niece-lover). The occasion was dim sum as a brunch in the birthday girl’s honour — that’s a very big table you’re seeing a wee corner of there. . . .
If that wee red topknot doesn’t make up for otherwise weak posting, I don’t know what will.
But I’ll be trying to think of it. . . . Happy Tuesday!
*those cat-lovers among you who are curious about the hat pattern, it’s Cats in the Hat by Deborah Tomasello, and you can find it here
Oh, they are both adorable! I love Harriet's bunny sweater too. The knit cap turned out beautifully!
The hat suits auntie and Harriet is lovely with her red-gold topknot.
Darling pictures:) You have a lovely family!
You know, it's just nice to hear from you. And that's some glorious, truly red, hair:).
I'm in awe of your knitting skills. Harriet's red hair positively glows with life.
Harriet is adorable and her red hair is stunning.
Family get togethers are much more important than a blog post!
Oh, that top knot is so sweet! Baby photos are always acceptable as a blog post!!
Oh melt melt melt. How much adorableness can one family contain?
An adorable photo will always suffice. And I was just admiring that hat on Ravelry last night….
Thanks, all — Nana here is a bit biased, but so glad you all agree on the cuteness.
Oh, she is ridiculously cute. It makes me nostalgic for when Kid 2 was a tiny thing and had a topknot … Now she's 13 with pimples 🙂
They grow so quickly! Harriet's momma, my own little girl, used to be nostalgic herself, in her teens and early twenties, for her "cute days". . . . now she can relive them, as I can, through her little one. . . and so may you, someday yet far off. . .
