A few quick and easy looks I’ve enjoyed wearing lately illustrate the pronounced move we’re making from winter to spring around here. Early last week, I was trying to improve the winter’s CostPerWear ratio on a few items before packing them away ’til next October. I love brown and black together, here in the chocolate tones of my Bompard v-neck and a black Aritzia pleated skirt all grounded by my Fluevog Truth Britney boots.
But leaves and blooms are unfurling at a furious pace here, and the thermometer is hitting the mid-teens when the sun comes out, so last week, I decided I wanted a more spring-forward look. And with tout le monde, combining marinière-style stripes with leopard flats, I thought I could give it a try, especially since I quite like leopard with red. And as if that weren’t enough piling-up of the trends, I’ve added a favourite red Indian-print cotton scarf, bought in Paris about 8 years ago but still well loved.
These red J-Brand skinnies make it quite clear that running does NOT make one’s legs smaller, but I’m going to flaunt them nevertheless. . . .
Once again, I’m joining the Visible Monday crowd. I highly recommend checking out how other bloggers are welcoming the Spring or seeing out the end of Winter.
Mid teens? I had to catch myself and translate that one into Fahrenheit : > Love these classic looks, Frances, and you look fabulous in your red jeans. Running makes for *great* legs, and you have them. Thanks for sharing with Vis Monday.
Hurrah! Finally I got a website from where I know how to
really get valuable data regarding my study and knowledge.

I highly approve of the red jeans and striped top, but I am biased as I have worn that combination quite a bit since buying red jeans a couple of years ago.
I have been a bit behind on blog reading and also wanted to note that I'm thinking of you and your family. Regarding your post below, sequins and sparkle to add a bit of cheer in emotionally hard times can't be wrong.
You have great legs. The red jeans are killer.
Catching up, the stripes and red jeans and leopard flats are such a fun and perfect look on you! Now you have me thinking about some red jeans for Spring…
