Look at this magical shade carpet of False lily-of-the-valley (Maianthemum dilantatum) in bloom. The property at Point No Point has been left, in large part, to nature, and it shows her at her West Coast best!
And one more try — and it seems that I can, indeed, enlarge the phone-photos after I move them from Picasa to Blogger. . . .and really, they’re not bad photos to get from a phone, are they? But does anyone else wish for an indexed how-to manual with new devices? I’m so envious of those of you who are able to figure this out intuitively . . .
This looks great! Declare victory and take lots of photo!
Yes, it does seem to be working, Duchesse, altho' it's a more roundabout route than I'd hoped for.
Wow, those are some pretty impressive phone photos!!
Looking forward to wedding photos!!!!
Magical indeed. You know, when I was a wee lassie on PEI, we'd visit my grandfather's evergreen tree farm in the country and I would marvel at the carpet of fairy moss and tiny blossoms peeking out. I hope that my children are taking in the wild hollyhocks enveloping our home at the moment; there's nothing like natural beauty to inspire and sustain.
Have a terrific wedding weekend (it's this one, right?)
Pseu: I'm surprised at how decent they are, actually.
Pavlova: there might be one or two . . . .
Miss C: Wild hollyhocks? Really? I'm envious. And yes, it's this weekend, and it's terrific already.
The False lily-of-the-valley is beautiful and you seem to have got the hang of sharing phone photos. Hooray!
