Holiday Visiting

I’m visiting today. . . I was invited to join some lovely bloggers over at A Femme d’Un Certain Age. Over the last two weeks, Tish has been introducing us to an array of wonderful bloggers who, in turn, are showing us how we might make our holiday season more festive. I’m thrilled to be included — come see, won’t you, and check out what several of us have to say about Christmas gifting on a zero budget. . .

These posts were so much fun! I was thrilled when Tish asked me to contribute.

We recently moved up Island from Victoria and so our ferry to the mainland now takes us past Bowen Island. I'll be sure to take a closer look next time we pass by – are you on the inner or outer side of the island?

Our first grandchild fills me with awe. I want to treasure each moment of NOW while thinking ahead to building blocks, inquisitive walks, reading books and giggles.

Lorrie: Wasn't it fun visiting in France?
Our little island is actually much smaller than Bowen — and much closer to Vancouver Island.
Congratulations on becoming a grandma — I'm certainly enjoying it!
Terri: Thanks . . . see you there.

It was such a lovely post Mater. And also I thought, my goodness you have a large family!
