Some holiday pics of our new little girl. Above, she’s sleeping in her dad’s arms and, bottom left, on her mom’s lap. On the right, her Aunt Rhiannon finally gets up the nerve to hold her, being convinced that breakage isn’t imminent — and she does very well!
Below, more sleeping (the girl’s a master, really!) and, on the right, she’s having a conversation with her Uncle Zach, whom she’s just met and, on the bottom, hanging out on mom’s lap again.
In case you’re wondering why her mom never gets into these shots, it’s because when mom and Nola get together, they’re usually doing something that Facebook apparently dubs obscene:breastfeeding. While we don’t think that way here, I do try to respect privacy. . .
Awwww, she is SO cute!!! You must be just over the moon, still.
how wonderfull to meet nola .. in particular while she’s meeting and greeting her family .. thanks ..
Thanks, Pseu — I am very happy with her!
Jane: Isn’t she sweet? I’m sure you’ll get to meet her in person on the island one of these days.
Oh how adorable she looks. She looks so very thoughtful with Uncle Zach; what a great series of photos.
Adorable!

How precious she is! Terrific pics of the adorable cherub.
Thanks Tara. We’re certainly under her spell.
Beautiful baby girl. Nana, feel free to post as many baby pictures as you like. She is adorable.:-)
Thanks, LBR! We like her!
She is adorable. I love the little hat. And as a former lactation consultant and mother, I would like to bash Facebook over the head. What is wrong with people? I am very angry about this. Thanks for lettting me vent
Julianne: Thanks! And yes, isn’t that whole Facebook goofiness frustrating — can’t believe this can be an issue!
Didn’t know you had done lactation consulting — that (and mothering, for that matter) is very important work.
