Although I do have all these projects organized in Ravelry, I thought I’d also like to have a spot on my blog that kept track of my knitting by year. I apologize to those of you with subscriptions as this is all old material, but it seemed to be the best way to end up with a single post I can link to from my sidebar, showing all of my 2007 knitting projects. I’ve figured out that it will be much easier to do this for 2008 if I simply begin adding projects into a post right from the start — this has taken me hours! Ideally, I’ll try to get back and add links to each of these, but meanwhile, if you’d like more information you should be able to find it on Ravelry or by browsing my archives — or leave a comment and I’ll try to answer queries.
At the beginning of 2007, I played around a bit with hat patterns and stash yarn, and ended up with the following hats which haven’t ever been photographed: a grey tweed maple seed hat, which was given away and three London beanies in various combinations of grey and black that Paul wears regularly. I’ve now learned my lesson and nothing gets gifted ’til it’s photographed, but these hats are gone, baby, gone.

What a nice, comprehensive “year in review”. I do like the Montego Bay Scarf without the fringe, so I know that is an option if I find the fringing too maddening.
Happy New Year!
Thanks, Gina — I do find it satisfying to say what I’ve managed to finish in the year. And yes, altho’ my no-fringe choice was made out of sheer laziness, I think the final result does look good.
